Installation

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the plugin overwrite my existing alt text?

No. On upload the plugin only sets alt text when the alt is empty. The Bulk tool offers an “Overwrite-all” mode if you want to replace existing alt text for all images.

Does this plugin send images to external services?

No. This plugin generates alt text locally from filenames and metadata. No external API calls are made by default.
