1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/easy-hreflang directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugin screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
3. Go to Easy hreflang menu to configure the plugin and save your changes.

Why won’t this work?

It does work. Select the scheme which correspond to your website and choose the languages for which you want to generate hreflang tags.
Do not forget to save your changes!
