Easy News Ticker

Easy news ticker is very simple and tiny plugin that helps you to show your vertically scrolling post or pages. Using short code you will able to use the ticker in any post or page to display your post scrolling vertically. Its widget enables you to use it in yor widget area. If you want to show all post of one or multiple categories it is super easy!

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

1. Upload easy_news_ticker to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

• To use it in your post or page you have to use a shortcode to make the ticker appear. After activating the plugin you will see a button on the visual editor called ‘Easy News TIcker’. Click on it, and a popup form will appear. Please fill the form according to your need and press ok. The shortcode will be placed in the editor. Publish or update the page/post. It will appear in that page/post.

• To use it as widget, go to Appearance>Widget, Here you will find a widged named easy news ticker. Activate it on your desired location. Change the setting from the widget from. Ticker will widget area.

Can I show multiple categories?

Yes. To use multiple category, type the names of the category in “Category Name” field. Use ” , “ to separate the category names.

Can I use the posts of custom post type?

The answer is yes and no! You can show the custom post type via shortcode. But custom post type in widget is not currently supported.
