Description

An email trap that sends emails to the address of your choice. Built for use on staging or development environments, to stop WordPress or its plugins from sending emails out to anyone except the site administrator. Good for testing aspects of your WordPress site that rely emails being sent.

To use the plugin, simply activate it.

You can dynamically disable the plugin using the email_trap_enable filter.

Installation

  1. Upload the email-trap folder to the /wp-content/plugins directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Make sure the admin email address is one you have access to, so you can view the trapped emails.
