Emitto is a platform that enables content publishers (bloggers, online media, news portals) to
distribute their content to their followers in the most effective way possible. Emitto automatically
collects any new content you publish and distributes it to your followers through multiple push
notification channels. Currently, available channels are Web Push and Facebook Chatbot which can be easily activated by simply installing Emitto WordPress plugin.

Emitto WordPress plugin creates a simple pop-up on your website which makes using your Emitto features easy and can help you easily turn your visitors to active subscribers.

This fully customizable popup gives your visitors two options:

Turn on web-push notifications for this website
Subscribe to Facebook Chatbot

Your potential subscriber can choose one or both options.

The plugin is a link between your WordPress website and external Emitto API which provides your website with web-push notifications.
Plugin communicates with Emitto external API which is handling all Emitto users and their subscribers.

In Plugin section (WordPress Dashboard) choose “Add New” and search for “Emitto”. Simply install and activate it and you’re ready to go.

Emitto icon will appear in your admin menu which opens Emitto plugin settings and customization.

Important settings:

Insert your unique Emitto ID here – Insert a unique Emitto ID provided to you after the Emitto registration.

Insert your unique Facebook chatbot link here – Insert a unique code for your chatbot notifications (if you want to use this channel, it’s optional).

Congrats! Your Emitto popup is now activated, and it will be shown to all of your website visitors.
