Note: This is a classic widget type, in order for it to work on the latest version of WordPress you will need Classic Widgets plugin installed on your site.

Installation

  1. Download and extract the zip archive
  2. Upload enhanced-text-widget folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  4. Add the widget to a sidebar and configure the options as desired

Does the job right

Needed a simple widget to display some custom fields somewhere on my website. So added the relevent PHP and it just works as expected. Easy to use.
