The plugin is a highly customizable calendar on the front end. All the events will display on the calendar. Also, users will be able to click on any event to view the event detail page and added volunteers.

In backend, admin can create Events, select Location and Task.

Note: You need to install and activate the Wow forms WordPress plugin to add the volunteer
and assign the event.

Installation Steps

Upload the folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Go to the admin Event Volunteers Menu and it’s submenu to enable event options

How to display Event Calendar?

You can add an Event Calendar in your WordPress posts, pages, or custom post types via shortcodes. [evp_eventlist]

You can also display an event calendar via plugin setting page.

Which type of event displays on Event Calendar?

There are two types of events, upcoming and previous events that can be displayed on Event Calendar.

How can we send a confirmation email to the volunteer?

Using the below link, go to the volunteer details page. Click the button to send email and confirm.
ex: wp-admin > Event Volunteers > View > View Details

How to assign a task for volunteers?

Please check the below steps.
1] Admin can create a task from the backend.
Go to the admin EVP Events Task menus and create a new task.
Ex: wp-admin > Evp Events Task > Add New
2] Once created task, go the event page or create a new event and choose a task from the bottom of the page in the Event task section.
Ex: wp-admin > Event Events > Add New(Edit) > Select Event Task

How to create volunteers?

Anyone can register himself first on the site from the front end, once registered they will redirect automatically to the login page, once logged in they can assign ownself as a volunteer, they can register other users for volunteer.

To register, go to the Calendar page and select an event from the calendar.

Admin can create registration form using wow form.
To create form go to the “Wow-Company” menu and create a form using wow form builder.

Can we assign a volunteer to multiple events or tasks?

Yes, Admin can assign a volunteer to multiple tasks from the backend.
