Extended AdRotate Ad Placements

By default, AdRotate supports utilizing their banner, group, and block short codes within widgets, posts, and pages.

Our ‘Extended AdRotate Ad Placements’ plugin extends AdRotate’s capability by supporting additional ad placements provided in, and native to, many WordPress themes that accept traditional ad code snippets (i.e. HTML, flash, javascript).

It was originally written to support the ad placements provided in SoloStream themes, but will work with other themes that offer similar ad placements such as Hades Bold Magazine Newspaper, BlogoLife, etc.

Without this plugin, the AdRotate short codes will not function in those theme’s ad placements, and instead will simply render the AdRotate short code as straight text.

1. Download/Save Plugin Zip file to your local computer
2. Within WP Admin, Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload
   Select the plugin zip file from your local computer
3. Click Install Now Button
4. Once install is complete, Click ‘Activate Plugin’ link

Note: There are no configuration screens for this plugin. Once activated, instead of seeing the text-based AdRotate short-codes in your theme’s ad spaces, the underlying Ad, Group, or Block will render as it’s configured inside of your AdRotate setup.

Q. Does this plugin work with SoloStream Themes?
A. Yes, our plugin is compatible with and has been tested with SoloStream WP-Clear and WP-Davinci themes. It should also work with any other SoloStream theme that contains ad placements.
