Want to show a specific blog post or other custom post type item on a page? The Featured Content Block allows you to select a specific post and display it on the page how you want it to look!
Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/featured-post-blockdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- To add the block to your content, find the “Featured Content Block” in the block inserter and insert it to the page. Then select a post in the inspector controls on the right side of the screen. Finally, you can build out the block by using any of the post template blocks, like the post title and post excerpt blocks.
