Description

With Fittest plugin for WordPress it is possible to test different variations of pieces content.

For example when you are not sure if a menu item has a title your visitors understand and want to try different titles just create an experiment. The experiment contains multiple pages and can be placed in the menu instead. After a while it is possible to see which variation performs the best.

The way this works is every visitor of your site gets one variation for the complete session and when the variation chosen it is ranked higher and is more likely to be assigned next. However when a variation is shown a lot but never chosen ranking goes down. To keep it fair once in every tenth session then the picked variation is completely random.

Installation

Install Fittest either via the WordPress.org plugin directory, or by uploading the files to your server After activating Fittest, you can start experimenting right away.

Page experiments:
1. Choose the menu option Experiments > Add New
2. Pick the pages you want in the experiment
3. After publishing the experiment add the experiment to the menu of choice (Make sure you have Experiments in your screen options)
