Frequently Asked Questions

What is required to use this plugin

In order to use this plugin it is necessary to have a Pic-Time account (https://www.pic-time.com/) and
at least one project in it.

Where are the gallery images hosted?

The gallery images are hosted on PicTime CDN (content delivery network).
That means your images have copies on different servers around the globe, and are served from the best available location.
Using the CDN will improve the speed loading of your site.

Why are images of a low quality?

If you notice significant images quality loss, that means only the low quality thumbnails were loaded,
and the lazy loading process did not succeed. The reason for that can be a Javascript error cause by a
conflict with another plugin or the theme. Usually that can be detected by inspecting the browser console log.

Can we bulk edit the Alt Tags (PRO only)?

The purpose of the Alt tag is to provide alternative information for an image if the user for some reason cannot view it (because of slow connection, an error in the src attribute, or if the user uses a screen reader).
Having the same Alt tag for different images will not add any benefit in terms of SEO, and only will add
confusion in terms of accesibility.
So having the same Alt for multiple images is not a good practice, therefore we did not implement a bulk images editing option.
