Installation

Installation

  1. Upload ‘generate-shortcode’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Now go to “Gen Shortcode” menu in WordPress.
  4. Click on “Add New” button.
  5. Now in “The Editor” enter your shortcode content, for example enter Google AdSense code.
  6. Click on “Publish” button.
  7. Now will be display your shortcode in “Shortcode” field (under the editor) like this [gen_shortcode id=”1234″ title=”Google AdSense”].
  8. Copy your shortcode and paste it into your post, page, custom post type content, or text widget content.
  9. Enjoy!.

Note: To add custom HTML elements like Google AdSense or JavaScript, use Text editor, not Visual editor, look to screenshots to understand me.
