Flexible and simple taxonomy filter. Easily to configurate it.

Feauters:

  1. You can select type of output. Available types: checkbox, dropdown and radio.
  2. Also you can activate actual taxonomies terms. It lets you get terms that are actual only at the current page of your site
  3. You can select the place where you wanna see filter. It may be widget’s sidebar or your custom place

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/gimmefilter directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Use the Admin Panel > Gimme Filter screen to configure the plugin
  4. Select where you want to see filter
  5. Select post type that you want to filter
  6. Select taxonomies that you want to filter
  7. Configurate them

How can I output filter to custom place?

You can do it selecting Custom output. And add shortcode [‘gimmefilter’] to any place of the page

How can I apply custom CSS for filter items?

Easily. For radio input attribute class is g-radio-class, for checkbox – g-checkbox-class, for dropdown – g-dropdown-class. So you can change class names in settings if you want.
