Why Track AI Agents?

This plugin sends pageview data to the GPTrends API to track AI agent and bot visits to your website.

Service: GPTrends API (https://api.gptrends.io)

Data sent: Page URL, user agent, referrer, IP address, and your Website ID

When: On each pageview when tracking is enabled (excludes admin pages and static files)

Automatic Installation

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
2. Go to Plugins > Add New
3. Search for “GPTrends Agent Analytics”
4. Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”

Manual Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP file
2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
4. Choose the ZIP file and click “Install Now”
5. Activate the plugin

Configuration

1. Go to Settings > GPTrends in your WordPress admin
2. Check “Enable Tracking”
3. Enter your Website ID from gptrends.io
4. Click “Save Changes”
