Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the shortcode?

Example: [gwcountdown date="2025-12-31 23:59" message="Happy New Year!"]
It accepts both 24‑hour and 12‑hour times (e.g. 11:59 PM). Your WordPress timezone setting will be used.

Can I add multiple countdowns?

Yes. You can place several [gwcountdown] shortcodes on the same page or post—each works independently.

Yes. Add hide_on_expire="true" in the shortcode to remove the timer once the countdown reaches zero.
