Installation
- Navigate to Plugins Add New from within the WordPress Dashboard.
- Search for
insert-code-lite. - Click Install Now on Insert Code Lite by Dmitry Mayorov.
- Activate the plugin.
Uploading in WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins Add New from within the WordPress Dashboard.
- Click on the Upload link underneath the Install Plugins page title.
- Click the Browse… button and choose
insert-code-lite.zipin its download location on your computer. - Click the Install Now button.
- Activate the plugin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why not include custom code in a theme?
You don’t want to put things like tracking code inside your theme because if you change it, custom code will be gone. With this plugin all your custom code will be present on your site even if you change themes.
