This plugin connects to the ItsBot AI service to provide an intelligent Chat Agent on your WordPress website. The connection is necessary for the Chat Agent to access its trained knowledge base and provide responses to your website visitors.

Data Transmission

The plugin sends the following data to ItsBot servers:

• The Bot ID (provided by you during setup) to identify which specific Chat Agent configuration to load
• Visitor information collected through the chat interface (name, email, and phone number) before answering queries
• Chat messages/questions submitted by website visitors

No WordPress site data or admin credentials are collected or transmitted.

The data is sent when:

• The Chat Agent widget is loaded on your website
• A visitor provides their contact information to start a conversation
• A visitor sends a message to the Chat Agent

The embeded.js script is hosted on ItsBot’s servers (widget.itsbot.ai) and is required for the Chat Agent functionality to work properly.

To install the plugin via WordPress Dashboard:

• In the WordPress admin panel, navigate to Plugin > Add new
• Search for itsbot chat agent
• Click install and wait for the installation to finish. Next, click the activate link

To install the plugin manually:

• Download and unzip the plugin package – itsbot-chat-agent.zip
• Upload the itsbot-chat-agent.zip to /wp-content/plugins/
• Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
• Access Chat Boot Setting from WordPress Admin
