Description

The Jetpack visibility module is appended to the bottom of all widgets (including 3rd parties). This plugin adds actions/filters so that plugin developers can add additional filters based on thier needs. See “Jetpack Widget Visibility – Query Args” and “Jetpack Widget visibility – WPML Languages” as two examples of what you can do with this enhancement.

Installation

Using The WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Search for ‘Jetpack Widget Visibility Extended’
  3. Click ‘Install Now’
  4. Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard
  5. See the above mentioned example plugins to apply additional visibility options/fields within your theme/plugin.

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
  3. Select bugherd-dashboard.zip from your computer
  4. Click ‘Install Now’
  5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
  6. See the above mentioned example plugins to apply additional visibility options/fields within your theme/plugin.

Using FTP

  1. Download bugherd-dashboard.zip
  2. Extract the bugherd-dashboard directory to your computer
  3. Upload the bugherd-dashboard directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
  5. See the above mentioned example plugins to apply additional visibility options/fields within your theme/plugin.
