Limit Bio

The Limit Bio plugin allows you to quickly limit the character count on the biographical information field on the edit profile page of your site.

Features:

• Admin settings to restrict the biography character count site wide.
• Limits Users to a specific character count in their bio
• Displays the remaining characters allowed and updates in real time as the user types.
• Works even if Javascript is disabled
• Stops a user from typing when the character count is reached
• Replaces the default biographical information field in the wordpress profile

1. Upload limit-bio.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

   As the user types, the character count to the top right updates in real time.

2. 

   Once the user reaches the specified character count, the plugin stops them from typing any further.

3. 

   Easily change the number of characters available to your users by changing the value in the settings.
