Description

Link Tracker is a free and easy-to-use WordPress plugin that helps website owners monitor link clicks directly from the WordPress admin panel.

Whether you want to track affiliate links, outbound links, or internal site navigation, this plugin provides real-time analytics with minimal performance impact.

Key Benefits:

  • Improve Engagement – Understand user behavior by tracking link clicks.
  • Boost Conversions – Monitor and optimize call-to-action (CTA) buttons.
  • SEO Insights – Identify important outbound and internal links.

How It Works

Once installed and activated, Link Tracker automatically tracks every clickable link on your website’s frontend. The data is stored in the database and displayed in an easy-to-read table inside the WordPress admin panel.

Features

  • Track all external and internal link clicks automatically.
  • Store tracking data in the WordPress database.
  • Display total click count and last-clicked timestamps in the admin panel.
  • Use AJAX-based tracking for a seamless experience.
  • Lightweight and optimized for performance.
  • Simple, easy-to-use admin interface with a sortable click tracking table.
  • New Settings Page – Users can enable/disable tracking for admin users, globally enable/disable clicks tracking, and add specific URLs to be ignored from tracking.

New Features in Version 1.2

  • Admin Click Tracking: Option to exclude admin users from link tracking to ensure accurate analytics for front-end visitors only.
  • Global Link Tracking Toggle: A new setting to enable or disable link tracking globally across the site, allowing you to pause tracking for any reason (e.g., maintenance mode).
  • Ignore Specific URLs: Ability to exclude specific URLs from tracking. You can add these URLs one per line in the settings to ensure they are not included in the tracking data.
