MarketPass Payment integrates a new payment method into your WooCommerce store, allowing customers to use MarketPass Vouchers to complete their purchases.

Customers enter their voucher code directly on the checkout page and complete the order, replicating the simplicity of an in-store purchase online. The payment form is fully integrated into the standard WooCommerce flow with no external redirects, improving the user experience and maximizing conversions.

External services

This plugin connects to an API to validate vouchers during the checkout process. It is required to confirm whether a customer’s voucher can be used to pay for their order.

It sends the voucher code entered by the user and the total amount of the cart.
The API for the validation is provided via auth.trecuori.org and auth.dev.trecuori.org (for testing purposes only).

1. Upload the marketpass plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
3. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.
4. Enable “MarketPass Payment” and click “Manage”.
5. Enter the API credentials (username and password) provided by MarketPass and save your changes.
6. The payment method will now be available on your checkout page.
