Description
This plugin was originally written for a client, but may be useful for others. It simply creates a discrete banner when viewed on mobile. This banner can include a link, to a mailing list for example.
Installation
- Upload the plugin zip file using WordPress’ plugin installer, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly (search for ‘Mobile Banner Robin Phillips’)
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Use the Settings->Mobile Banner screen to set the text and link URL
