The Coinify Payment Gateway for WooCommerce allows your end-users to pay for your products/services using cryptocurrency payments on your WooCommerce store via the Coinify API, with no volatility risk for you because your account gets credited in the FIAT currency of your choice.

How It Works:

  1. Customer selects Coinify as their payment method during checkout.

After a payment is confirmed by Coinify, the plugin securely sends a small record of the transaction to a separate system managed by the plugin developer (ALC Media).
This process is used solely for technical support and troubleshooting to improve the reliability of the Coinify plugin. No personal or sensitive customer information is included.
The information sent includes order_id, total, transaction_id, payment_intent_id, and origin.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/coinify-gateway/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments and enable the Coinify Payment Gateway.
  4. Configure the the plugin settings, including your Coinify API Key.
  5. Select mode Sandbox or Production according needs.

How do I get a Coinify API key?

Sign up for a Coinify account, provide the requested documentation in the Coinify Dashboard, and get your account approved.
Once that is done, create the API key on the API keys page, copy and paste it in the Coinify WooCommerce plugin settings as the API key parameter.
