Penguin Integration

Penguin Integration allows you to easily add Penguin buttons to your site so you can start accepting Apple Pay today.

Easily add the Penguin button using our ‘penguin’ shortcode.
This plugin will generate the shortcode needed for each product, so you just need to copy paste.

Basic Usage

Wherever you want a Penguin button to appear, add a shortcode. When you view your post or page, the shortcode will be replaced with a Penguin button for the product.

Shortcode Example

[penguin productid='PRODUCT_ID']

Visit the settings page to have the shortcodes generated for each product. From there you can copy and paste the shortcodes into your posts or pages.

1. Unzip the Penguin Integration plugin download
2. Upload the entire penguin-integration folder to your wp-content/plugins/ directory.
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
4. Go to Settings -> Penguin
5. Download your products by logging in to Penguin on the settings page
6. Copy and paste the Penguin shortcodes in any post or page.

What is Penguin?

Penguin is a service that allows your customers to pay using Apple Pay.
This is done by redirecting the payment request to their iPhone.

How do my customers use Penguin?

After clicking the button, the customer will enter their phone number.
First time users will recieve a text with a link to download our app.
Repeat users will get a notification on their phone.
In the app, your customer will use their touch ID to authorize the payment.

What information do I get from my customer?

When you create your products on getpenguin.com, you’ll specify what information you want from the customer.
When the customer completes their transaction, the requested information will be available online.

How many Penguin buttons can I place in a post or page?

You can place as many button as you like.
