Description
This is a small WordPress plugin allowing you to turn digital pinyin notation (Chinese transliteration standard) into a diacritic one. It turns out to be very useful if you type chinese grammar lessons.
For example, “Wo3 shi4 Mei3guo2 ren2” turns into “Wǒ shì Měiguó rén”.
Installation
- Unzip
pinyin-tones.zipinto/pinyin-tones/directory - Upload
/pinyin-tones/directory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Use
[pinyin][/pinyin]syntax to format your pynyin notation.
