PixRem scans your WordPress site to find images no longer in use and helps you safely delete them to save storage space and improve performance.

Installation
- Upload the pixrem folder to /wp-content/plugins/
- Activate the plugin via the Plugins menu
- Go to PixRem in the admin sidebar
- Click Start Scan and review unused images
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Deleted files are backed up automatically, so you can restore them if needed.
Use the Restore from Backup link shown after deletion, or copy the file manually from /wp-content/uploads/pixrem-backups/YYYY/MM/.
Enter attachment IDs (comma-separated) or upload paths/folders (one per line) in PixRem Whitelist to always skip those files.
