Description
Twitter Tools is great but currently lacks a simple function to send a Tweet from your site’s PHP. This plugin adds such a function, so you can send a Tweet by calling the function from your site’s PHP.
Installation
- Copy the file really-simple-tweet.php to your WordPress plugins directory.
- Login to WordPress as an administrator, go to Plugins and Activate it.
- Send a Tweet by calling the function – e.g. simple_tweet(“Text to Tweet”,”Twitter_username”,”Twitter_password”)
instead of the default “Meta” Widget
