Recent Post Widget Thumbnail

This plugin will empower a custom, adaptable and easy to use recent posts widget, you can show it by means of widget. Permits you to show a list of the latest posts with thumbnail, excerpt and post date.

Very Important

Whenever you update the plugin, make sure to deactivate the previous version and then activate the new one. Normal WordPress update does that, and should be sufficient, but if you overwrote plugin files manually, be sure to execute deactivation/activation cycle, otherwise you will miss the execution of activation hooks and some options may become misconfigured. for For the sake of performance, plugin is not programmed to run all the necessary checks every time it is loaded, since activation hook is an expensive operation. That is why it is important to execute deactivation/activation cycle.

Automatic installation

*This is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of Recent Post Widget Thumbnail.

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins -> Add New
2. In the search field type Recent Post Widget Thumbnail and click Search Plugins.
3. Find Recent Post Widget Thumbnail.
4. Then click on Install Now after that activate the plugin.
5. Go to the widgets page Appearance -> Widgets.
6. Find Recent Post Widget Thumbnail widget.

Manual installation or Installing Via FTP

*The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favorite FTP application.

1. Download the plugin to your hardisk.
2. Unzip.
3. Upload the recent-post-widget-thumbnail folder into your plugins directory.
4. Log in to your WordPress admin panel and click the Plugins menu.
5. Then activate the plugin.
6. Go to the widgets page Appearance -> Widgets.
7. Find Recent Post Widget Thumbnail widget.
