RecentNews adds a shortcode [recentnews /] and a button to the editor
A few notes to this plugin:

Installation
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
- Extract and Upload
recentnews.zipto the/wp-content/plugins/directory or just
use Plugin upload backend function - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Set default count of posts to display
- Add shortcode to a post
