Pages, custom post types and every other type, will be excluded from your WordPress search queries.
Just upload the plugin and activate it. It will take take care of the rest.
* Keep in mind that this plugin works with the default WordPress search engine.
Installation
All you have to do is upload the plugin within your WordPress Plugins menu and activate it.
Checking your search results after this move and seeing only posts, will verify that plugin is in perfect working state.
