Rename Author Slug

This simple plugin changes the user based permalink slug ‘author’ to anything you wish.
For example, you have an e-learning management system where different members teach on different topics. Each member has his/her unique profile url (author permalink) something like this: http://nazmulahsan.me/author/admin
Now you wish the word ‘author’ to be changed to ‘teacher’. So, this is the plugin you need.

1. Upload the rename-author-slug folder and its contents to your wp-contents/plugins directory.
2. Activate in the Plugins menu.
3. Configure from WordPress admin area.
4. You’re done!
