Installation
Download, Upgrading, Installation:
Upgrade
- First deactivate Rich Category Editor
- Remove the
rich-category-editordirectory
Install
- Unzip the
rich-category-editor.zipfile. - Upload the the
rich-category-editorfolder (not just the files in it!) to yourwp-contents/pluginsfolder. If you’re using FTP, use ‘binary’ mode.
Activate
- In your WordPress administration, go to the Plugins page
- Activate the Rich Category Editor plugin and you will see TiniMCE on your category/tag edit page.

Use RichCategoryEditor::display_desc() in your template file instead of category_description() function.
