1. Upload and Activate

Download the plugin ZIP file.

Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Upload the ZIP and click Install Now.

Activate the plugin.

1. Configure Settings

Go to Dashboard → RS Diwali Lantern.

Set Height and Width (just enter numeric values in pixels).

Choose the Lantern Position (top-right, bottom-left, etc.).

Optionally, check Hide on Mobile if you don’t want it visible on phones.

Pick your Lantern Design — 3 preloaded designs or “My Lantern” to upload your own.

Add an optional Link URL to make your lantern clickable.

Choose Sway Animation type (two styles or none).

Set Swaying Speed in seconds (smaller numbers = faster animation).

Click Save Changes — and you’re all set to light up your site for Diwali! 🎉

Note for Users

This plugin works with most WordPress themes, but some themes that do not include wp_footer or wp_body_open hooks may require manual adjustment.

If the lantern does not appear, please check your theme or try switching to a default theme temporarily.

Can I use my own image or GIF?
Yes! Upload any image (PNG, JPG, GIF) in the settings under “My Lantern.”
