With Shorty you create shortcodes within your admin dashboard, place them on posts or pages multiple times and all managed centrally.

What is a shortcode?
Shortcodes are placeholders for certain content e.g. text, images and/or functionality.
How to display a shortcode?
In order to use a shortcode within your WordPress pages and posts you simply paste the shortcode tag e.g. [my_shortcode] to the editor.

Installation
The installation and configuration of the plugin is as simple as it can be.
Using The WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
- Search for ‘shorty’
- Click ‘Install Now’
- Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard
Uploading in WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
- Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
- Select
shorty.zipfrom your computer - Click ‘Install Now’
- Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
Using FTP
- Download
shorty.zip - Extract the
shortydirectory to your computer - Upload the
shortydirectory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
