1. Unzip the downloaded plugin file social-media-user-detection.zip,
2. Upload the social-media-user-detection the to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory,
3. Activate the plugin “Social Media User Detection” through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress,
4. That’s it! You will now see a new menu item under “Settings” called “User Detection”. Follow the instructions at http://adaptpartners.com/wordpress/social-media-user-detection/ to setup your Facebook App and Custom Segments in Google Analytics (easy) and you’re ready to go!
