Frequently Asked Questions

Can I configure the tags that are added?

Not yet – I can add this if there’s any interest. If you want this, then please get in touch

What Google Analytics tags are set?

The plugin sets the following Google Analytics Tags:
+ utm_source : twitter
+ utm_medium : twitter
+ utm_campaign : twitter

Can I set different values for each post?

Not yet – I can add this if there’s any interest. If you want this, then please get in touch

Why should I use this plugin?

Generally hits from twitter will show up in Google Analytics as “Direct Traffic” – which means you can’t measure the effectiveness of your Twitter profile. Tagging your traffic lets you measure the hits coming from Twitter effectively – see my original post on the subject for more information.
