Description

Instantly convert videos into amazing blog posts complete with video screenshots, internal/external links, SEO optimization, and so much more.

Video To Blog can be used to repurpose your YouTube videos, podcasts, webinars, audio recordings, and transcripts.

Using this Video To Blog plugin you can export your blog posts directly to your WordPress site.

When exporting, the plugin will:

  • Upload images from VideoToBlog to your WordPress Media Library and swap the URLs in your content.
  • Preserve image SEO metadata when available (alt text, captions and SEO-friendly filenames).
  • Send SEO metadata compatible with popular SEO plugins (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress, All in One SEO), as well as generic Open Graph and Twitter metadata.

A quick installation guide can be found here: Video To Blog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this plugin send any data to external services?

Yes. When you connect your site to your VideoToBlog account, the plugin securely sends your site URL, site name, and token to https://videotoblog.ai in order to verify and register your connection.
No personal user data, post content, or analytics are transmitted unless you explicitly export a post or image.

What happens when I disconnect or uninstall the plugin?

When you uninstall the plugin, your stored token is removed from your WordPress database. No further communication occurs with VideoToBlog.

Is my data shared with any third parties?

No. The connection is only between your WordPress site and VideoToBlog’s secure API. No third-party tracking or analytics are included.

Does this plugin work with SEO plugins?

Yes. When you export a post, VideoToBlog sends both generic meta tags (meta description, Open Graph, Twitter card) and plugin-specific meta keys for Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress and All in One SEO. This means your SEO plugin should automatically pick up the title and description that VideoToBlog generated for you.

How are image alt text, captions and filenames handled?

When possible, VideoToBlog sends alt text, captions (including from <figure><figcaption>) and an SEO-friendly slug for each image. The plugin will use these values when creating media items in your Media Library, and will update the image URLs in the exported content to point to the new attachments.
