This plugin lets you change the from email address and from email name that appear on emails sent from WordPress. By default the “From Name” on emails sent from WordPress has a name “WordPress” and “From Email” has “[email protected]”. You can change both “From Name” and “From Email” using this plugin very easily.

Installation

From your WordPress dashboard

  1. Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
  2. Search for ‘WP Change Default From Email’
  3. Activate ‘WP Change Default From Email’ from your Plugins page.

  1. Download ‘WP Change Default From Email’.
  2. Upload the ‘wp-change-default-from-email’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
  3. Activate ‘WP Change Default From Email’ from your Plugins page.

Frequently Asked Questions

If mails are going in spam.

To avoid your email being marked as spam, it is highly recommended that your domain name in ‘From Email’ must match with your website, i.e. if your website is example.com then your email must hosted on @example.com.
