The GZIP compression is one of the most important possibilities to optimize a website to get a better performance in loading pages. Consite send site codes in compressed format, so it takes up much less space and therefore it tranfiram the network faster.

Installation
- You can either use the automatic plugin installer or your FTP program to upload it to your wp-content/plugins directory the top-level folder. Don’t just upload all the php files and put them in
/wp-content/plugins/. - Disable any other WordPress GZIP plugin you may have installed!
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Visit the WordPress GZip settings (Settings -> WordPress GZip)
- Configure the options.
