Description

Rename spreadsheet columns when you are bulk editing Posts and Pages using the spreadsheet.

For example, if you are editing a custom post type “Gallery”.

You can rename the columns from “post title”, “content”, “featured image” to “Gallery name”, “description”, “Main picture”.

Note. You need to install the “wp sheet editor” plugin to be able to use this plugin.

In the spreadsheet, right click on any column and select “rename column”.

Installation

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

  1. In the search field type WP Sheet Editor and click Search Plugins.
  2. Once you’ve found our plugin you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.
  3. Go to “wp sheet editor” settings page and you will see options to change columns names.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favourite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here.
