Description

This plugin lets you embed IRIS/RPS publication data in your site. It is aimed exclusively at UCL (University College London) staff and researchers.

It uses the documented RPS (Research Publication Service) API (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/how-to/research-it/how-to-embed-rps) to request a researcher’s publication list and include it on a page.

Usage:

  • Go to edit the post or page which should include the publication list
  • Add a shortcode which includes the researcher’s UPI, eg: [ucl_iris upi="MBAUM76"]

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/wp-ucl-iris-embed directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Look up the UPI for any UCL staff/academics whose references you want to embed
  4. Include the shortcode on a post or page where required, eg: [ucl_iris upi="MBAUM76"]
