Description

WP User Switch is a very simple plugin. It will help you to switch between the user’s account in a WordPress site. By one simple click, you will be switch instantly logged out from the present account and logged in to your desired account without type any username and password. This is very useful for test environments where site administrators regularly switch between different accounts for multiple purposes. Site administrators can allow any user to switch between accounts but then allowed users can’t switch to an admin account. See the Github project repository.

Yes, you can switch users directly from the admin toolbar because this plugin added an admin menu for user switch.

Can I switch users from front end?

Yes, you can switch users from Front-End. If WooCommerce is installed then you will have an extra sticky switcher option in the site body, but you must be logged in first.

Can I switch users when i am logged out?

No, you must be logged in first. Then if you have ‘manage options’ capability then can switch users. If you don’t have this capability then you have to be allowed by the administrators.

Useful simple plugin - seems to be active & logging on the front end though

I'm a huge fan of these micro productivity plugins. Just note - there seems to be a bug or error where there is a console log spitting out some erroneous details into the console on the FRONT END of the site when not even logged in. There shouldn't be a need to load the plugin files on the front end and the console log error could be patched if possible. If that's done then otherwise fantastic job
