<li>Open an image in the Media Library attachment details/modal.</li>
<li>Click Generate Alt Text (or Re-generate Alt Text).</li>
<li>Optionally enable Add keywords and provide comma-separated keywords.</li>
<li>Save/update the attachment if needed.</li>

<h4>Bulk generation</h4>

<li>Go to Settings > Alt Goblin > Bulk Generation.</li>
<li>Click Start Bulk Generation.</li>
<li>Monitor progress in real time.</li>
<li>Use Stop Processing if you want to pause after the current image finishes.</li>

Our Supabase Edge Functions act as a secure intermediary that forwards your image URLs to OpenAI’s ChatGPT API for analysis. Images are processed temporarily for the purpose of generating alt text and are not stored permanently by either service.
