<h3>External services</h3>
<p>This plugin connects to the Alter Product service to provide a 3D product viewer, configurator and customizer that can be embedded anywhere on your WooCommerce store.</p>
<p>Alter Product is an external platform that hosts the 3D configurator application and stores product configuration data created by customers.</p>
<p>When the plugin is configured with Alter Product API credentials, the plugin may send requests to the Alter Product service to verify API access, load Alter Product product data for mapping, and create secure configurator embed sessions.</p>
<p>When the configurator is displayed on a page containing an Alter Product embed, the visitor’s browser loads the configurator application from the Alter Product service inside an iframe.</p>
<p>Data that may be sent to Alter Product includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>API authentication headers configured by the site administrator</li>
<li>the store domain / site origin</li>
<li>Alter Product identifiers such as product ID, design ID or order ID</li>
<li>configuration session identifiers used to associate a design with the WooCommerce cart or order</li>
</ul>
<p>These requests occur only when:</p>
<ul>
<li>the administrator connects the plugin to Alter Product using API credentials</li>
<li>the administrator loads product data for mapping in the plugin settings</li>
<li>a WooCommerce page or view containing an Alter Product embed is opened</li>
<li>a configuration session is created for the viewer, configurator or customizer</li>
</ul>
<p>The plugin does not send WooCommerce billing or shipping personal data to Alter Product.</p>
