Auto Upload Images

I came across this plugin via a tutorial on WP Beginner on how to import non-local images.

I was struggling with this as I needed to copy Block Editor content from one site to another. However, when you do this, the images still reference the old site.

With this plugin, you install it, and simply "update" the post. I recommend doing this from the bulk-edit screen. Just do a "Quick Edit" and update.

Like magic, all the non-local images in the post are brought over into the media library and your post is updated with the correct local links.

This is such a huge time-saver because I could not find a "native" way to do this, and it would've resulted in me having to basically download and re-upload the images.

Kudos to the plugin author. This plugin is fantastic. And for those wondering, it still works with WordPress 6.0.
