<p>Block Navigation provides a sidebar with the current post/page’s blocks and some tools to facilitate the editing process in the new Gutenberg editor.</p>
<h3>Features</h3>
<p>The features are especially useful for nested blocks – blocks that are inside parent blocks which are difficult to select or move in the editor.</p>
<p>Inside the panel several utilities are included to enhance the UX, such as:</p>
<ul>
<li>Dragging blocks to a different location</li>
<li>Moving blocks by click</li>
<li>Selecting blocks</li>
<li>Easily recognising the block from a small snippet of the block’s content</li>
</ul>
<p>The user can select a dark or light color scheme, from the multiple included.</p>

<p>The plugin also provides some features for Plugin and Theme developers, such as:</p>

<li>Click and Copy the block’s clientId</li>
<li>Click to console.log helpful data from the block</li>

<h3>Usage</h3>
<p>Inside the Post editor on the right side of the top Block’s Toolbar the plugin icon/button should appear (if not, please read the FAQ below).<br />
Click the icon/button to open the plugin sidebar.</p>

<p>After you install the plugin, you will see a Table Builder menu. Go to Table Builder > Add New.</p>
<p>You will be able select column number and row number. Once you select that, click on Generate. The table will be generated.</p>
<p>You can then drag and drop elements from the left panel into the table cells. Once you are done adding and editing elements, click on Save to save the tables.</p>
<p>After the table is saved, you can embed it in post and pages by using a shortcode. Click on ‘Embed’ on the top to get the shortcode.</p>
<p>You can also get the shortcode from the ‘All Tables’ list under ‘Table Builder’ menu.</p>
<h3>Import Tables</h3>
<p>You can import tables from CSV or XML files. You can import both single and multiple CSV or XML files. Multiple files will have to be zipped.</p>
<p>You can also import tables from TablePress plugin.</p>
<h3>Export Tables</h3>
<p>Just like importing you can export the tables to CSV or XML files.</p>
<p>If you are looking to move tables created with WP Table Builder to another site, XML is the better choice as it will preserve table settings.</p>

WP Table Builder – Drag & Drop Table Builder


First, let me start by saying that I posted my issues first on the support forum, but no-one answered for 3 weeks. That's why, today I'm posting my review here and give the same reasons as on that support post.




Some text fields cannot be edited after the table is saved and the page refreshed. This forces me to delete them and add new text fields with the edited content.



The star icons take incredible amount of space (paddings), which is even stranger considering the fact, that it cannot be changed without the use of CSS.



There is no way to set the number of stars back to 0 after even 1 star has been clicked. This forces me to delete the stars module and create add it again.



Plugin’s CSS loads correctly on Opera but doesn’t load at all in Chrome (nowhere in HTML). I had to paste the HTML of the CSS stylesheet directly via a wp_footer hook, so that it would show up.



When an option “disable CSS” is enabled, the CSS is still enabled, but the whole table becomes impossible to edit with CSS. I noticed that in this case the whole table is generated and loaded using shadow DOM which would explain that, but why oh why did you think this is a good idea? Option “disable CSS” means “DISABLE CSS” and not, “prevent user styles to affect the table”.
