<p>BP Distance Search adds a new <em>Google Place Autocomplete</em> field type to your BuddyPress extended profiles, and registers this field type with <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-profile-search/" rel="ugc">BP Profile Search</a>.</p>
<p>After installing this plugin:</p>
<ol>
<li>Admin can create new profile field(s) with type <em>Google Place Autocomplete</em></li>
<li>Members can fill in the new profile field(s) on their <em>Profile Edit</em> page</li>
<li>Admin can add the new profile field(s) to a BP Profile Search form, selecting either the <em>distance</em> search mode or one of the usual text search modes <em>contains</em>, <em>is</em>, or <em>is like</em></li>
<li>Visitors can use the search form with the new profile field(s)</li>

<h3>Using Trip Plans & Maps</h3>
<h3>Adding POIs to Your Posts</h3>
<ol>
<li>Open your travel post in the editor</li>
<li>Position your cursor at the first Point of Interest</li>
<li>Click the Trip Plan button in your editor and select “Add POI”</li>
<li>Use Places autocomplete to select the place</li>
<li>Optionally add a website link, tags and recommended visit time</li>
<li>Choose how to display the POI (as a heading or inline)</li>
</ol>
<p>To edit a POI, simply click on it in the editor and make your updates.</p>
<h3>Adding Trip Plans and Maps</h3>
<p>After adding your POIs:</p>
<ol>
<li>Position your cursor where you want to display the trip plan (typically at the end of the post)</li>
<li>Select “Trip Plan Plan” from the Gutenberg blocks</li>
<li>Set the trip name and heading style</li>
<li>To add a map, position your cursor (typically above the plan) and select “Trip Plan Map” from blocks</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> Plans and Maps must always be placed after the last POI in your post.</p>
