A Quick Performance Booster. Easy to use

BunnyCDN is a CDN service that allows you to upload and store your files for very affordable pricing and lightning speeds across the world. If you haven't tried BunnyCDN, you will understand why I urge you to switch to this CDN service asap. Not only for the savings and speed, but the ease of use. This plugin will re-route all of your important files over to BunnyCDN.

As a long-time user and fan of BunnyCDN, however, I was looking for a way to upload my media to BunnyCDN and use it on my website. Looking around the Internet and even contacting BunnyCDN, I did not find a solution. So I created my own which allows you to use your BunnyCDN media library with your WordPress website.

When removing it from the website, it leaves their propagated URLs in the source code and this messes up the entire layout.

I've been using Bunny.net as a CDN for years and it's great. It's easily my favorite CDN to set up and it's pricing is better than most.



This plugin works well too. However after using it for all this time, I randomly had a compatibility issue with an outdated plugin. I posted in the support forum and within a few days they fixed the problem.



I believe the issue was not actually caused by the Bunny.net plugin, but by another plugin on our site that was loading a library with Composer of a different version, which caused the compatibility issue. Somehow the Bunny.net team fixed the compatibility issue with very little trouble.

<p>For busy websites, using a CDN (Content Delivery Network) to transfer static content such as images, javascripts, stylesheets, Flash etc. is highly recommended (as listed in Yahoo!’s <a href="http://developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html" rel="nofollow ugc">Best Practices for Speeding Up Your Web Site</a>) as it reduces server load and bandwidth thus improves stability and availability.</p>
<p>There is a catch – Commerical CDN’s like Akamai and Limelight are not cheap at all. Good news, we have an exception however – the free, P2P-based <a href="http://www.coralcdn.org/" rel="nofollow ugc">CoralCDN</a> allows us to take full advantage of a powereful CDN without spending a dime. How to use it? Well, basically, just append <code>.nyud.net</code> to the hostname of any URL, and that URL will be handled by Coral – simple.</p>
<p>This plugin takes that simplicity one step further (or closer?) by rewriting your static files’ URL’s (JavaScripts, CSS, images etc.) so that they are served from Coral servers instead of your own. You don’t have to touch anything! Just enable it, and boom! your static contents are handled with care by Coral’s powerful server clusters.</p>
<p>If you are paying bandwidth fee, this plugin hopefully helps with your bills. Even if you don’t, enabling it may save your site in peak times.</p>
