<p><strong>How it works</strong></p>
<p>DocRenders sends your post HTML to the DocRenders rendering service and streams the resulting PDF directly to the visitor’s browser — no files are stored on your server.</p>

<h3>External services</h3>
<p>This plugin connects to the DocRenders API to generate PDFs. No PDF files are stored on your server — they are streamed directly to the visitor’s browser.</p>
<p><strong>Endpoints used:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><code>/render</code> — called whenever a visitor clicks the PDF download button or a WooCommerce invoice is generated. Sends the post/page HTML (or invoice data) and your API key.</li>
<li><code>/usage</code> — called periodically from the admin settings page to display your monthly render count. Sends only your API key.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Data sent:</strong> post or page HTML content, invoice field values (shop name, address, order details), API key (as a Bearer token), and optional rendering options (page format, margins).</p>

<p>Once installed take the following steps to set it up:</p>

<li>WP-Print settings page is located in WP-Admin -> Settings -> Print</li>
<li>You Need To Re-Generate The Permalink (WP-Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Save Changes)</li>

<li>Open <code>wp-content/themes/<YOUR THEME NAME>/index.php</code>. You should place it in single.php, post.php, page.php, etc also if they exist.</li>
<li>Find: <code><?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?></code></li>
<li>Add Anywhere Below It: <code><?php if(function_exists('wp_print')) { print_link(); } ?></code></li>
</ol>

<li>The first value is the text for printing post.</li>
<li>The second value is the text for printing page.</li>
<li>Default: print_link(”, ”)</li>
<li>Alternatively, you can set the text in ‘WP-Admin -> Settings -> Print’.</li>
<li>If you DO NOT want the print link to appear in every post/page, DO NOT use the code above. Just type in <strong>[print_link]</strong> into the selected post/page content and it will embed the print link into that post/page only.</li>

WP-Print

I know that we can set this manually by using a Custom Print Text Link Style, but the plugin by code should automatically do it, or simply have a checkbox for it in the settings page, as my end users are not that bright to even copy paste the code that I give them!

Other than that, this could be a 5 star plugin, a job almost perfectly done.
