NOTE: This uses the old media gallery interface, and I have no plans to change this.
I use the WordPress Gallery a lot on websites I build. It’s a wonderful tool, but it’s hard to find. Instead of telling users “Click the first icon next to Upload/Insert, then click the gallery tab”, I created this simple plugin to display all the attached images in a metabox.
It’s also customizable for developers (see documentation).

After updating to WP v4.9 this plugin gave me a PHP error until I added an image and then deleted it. Something about an array expected. Needs attention.

Advanced Post Manager

This plugin doesn't do anything. It says you have to install it and then get a developer to write some code to make it work. That means this isn't a plugin, it's just a useless piece of code. The plugin repository should only be for plugins that actually add some functionality to your WordPress website. This "plugin" is just taking up space and confusing people. Did the developers just get bored and decided not to finish their plugin? It should be removed from the plugin repository!
